Software Research Engineer I

February 2024 - November 2025

Reverse Engineered various equipment ranging from PCB electronics to Application-level Software.

Key Achievements:
  • Extracted firmware from embedded devices through JTAG, then performed reverse engineering in Ghidra and IDA Pro.
  • Utilized Wireshark and CAN Bus sniffers (among other Digital Logic Analyzers) to understand networks and perform man-in-the-middle attacks.
  • Developed software and plugins to interpret hardware protocols such as SPI, CAN Bus, MIL-STD-1553, and RF signals.

Embedded Software Engineer

Key Achievements:
  • Developed a sensor network for a manned vehicle to perform Localization.
  • Developed an App for a RFID tag reader to scan a custom passive PCB with an attached torque sensor.
  • Used OpenCV to develop various optimized, real-time computer vision applications such as facial recognition, object detection, and object tracking.
  • Worked with NVIDIA's MAGMA libraries to convert an extended kalman filter and LSML algorithm to run on a multi-GPU system for real-time processing.
  • Designed custom PCBs and cable harnesses in Altium for various stages of the project lifecycles.
